The Helping hands Foundation is a globally recognized charitable organization committed to advocating for the rights, health, and well-being of vulnerable populations in Uganda. Founded by Immaculate Nelson, widely known as Emily Smith , the foundation has a strong focus on empowering women, children, orphans, and the elderly through education, healthcare, and human rights activism. With its headquarters in the United Kingdom, the foundation utilizes its international platform to drive impactful change in underprivileged communities, ensuring that every individual, regardless of age or background, has access to a life of dignity and opportunity.
Our Mission
To empower vulnerable communities in Uganda by providing education, healthcare, and advocacy for human rights, with a special focus on adolescent girls, teenage mothers, orphans, and the elderly. Objectives of Helping Hands Foundation
1 Empower Vulnerable Populations through Comprehensive Support Programs
- Focus: Develop and implement targeted support programs for adolescent girls, teenage mothers, orphans, and the elderly in Uganda.
- Education & Vocational Training: Provide scholarships, vocational training, and mentorship opportunities to empower young women and orphans to achieve self-sufficiency and academic success.
- Healthcare Access: Improve healthcare services for orphans and the elderly by partnering with local health providers and international NGOs to ensure access to necessary medical care, including HIV/AIDS treatment and elder care.
- Community Integration: Foster community-based initiatives that connect orphans and the elderly with local communities, promoting social inclusion and mutual support.
2 Enhance Global Reach and Resource Mobilization for Sustainable Impact
- Focus: Build a strong, global network of donors, partners, and supporters to secure continuous financial and material support for the foundation’s programs.
